Krakow
Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. It is located on the Vistula River in the southern part of Lesser Poland. Its population is estimated at 1.4 million including the surrounding communities.
In the year 2000, Krakow was named European Capital of Culture. Krakow has been also approved as a UNESCO's City of Literature.

- The historic Wawel Castle and Cathedral.

It is recommended to take a tour in Wieliczka Salt Mine located about 13 Km south of Krakow. It is one of the world's oldest salt mines still in operation.
It is also recommended to visit the historic site of Auschwitz concentration camp located about 50 Km west of Krakow.
