Canadian Rockies
The Canadian Rockies have numerous high peaks and ranges, such as Mount Robson (3,954 m) and Mount Columbia (3,747 m). The Canadian Rockies are composed of shale and limestone. Much of the range is protected by parks and a World Heritage Site.
We recommend you stay in the area for at list 6 nights: 3 nights at Banff, 2 nights at Lake Louise, and 1 night at Jasper.
Main sights recommended are:
- Banff.
- Lake Louise.
- Lake Moraine.
- Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls.
- Peyto Lake. On the way, stop at Bow Lake.
- Athabasca Glacier- Columbia Icefield.
- Jasper national park.
