Kenya

Kenya is a state in the African Great Lakes region of East Africa. Its capital and largest city is Nairobi. Kenya has a population of about 44 million.

Compared with other African countries, Kenya enjoys relatively high political and social stability.

Kenya's services sector, which contributes 61% of GDP, is dominated by tourism. The tourism sector had become the country's principal source of foreign exchange.

Tourists are attracted mainly to the coastal beaches such as Nyali beach in Mombasa and the safaris.

Kenya is famous for its safaris and diverse wildlife reserves and national parks such as Maasai Mara, (which is the Kenyan part of the famous Serengeti), Amboseli, Tsavo, Lake Nakuru, and Aberdares.

The "Big Five" animals of Africa (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhinoceros and elephant) can be found in Kenya, especially in the Maasai Mara.
