About halfway, at George city, take the road to Oudtshoorn, (about 60 km drive) and visit the town with the world's largest ostrich population. Take a tour in Cango Caves, one of the country's finest, best known and most popular tourist caves.
Take a safari in Kruger National Park, one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It is renowned for its diversity of wildlife and is a famous tourist attraction with over 1.4 million visitors a year.
