Norway

Norway is a sovereign and unitary monarchy whose territory comprises the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula. Norway is considered to be one of the most developed democracies and states of justice in the world.

Norway has extensive reserves of petroleum, natural gas, minerals, lumber, seafood, fresh water, and hydropower. The petroleum industry accounts for around a quarter of the country's gross domestic product (GDP).On a per-capita basis, Norway is the world's largest producer of oil and natural gas outside the Middle East.

Norwegians enjoy the second-highest GDP per-capita among European countries (after Luxembourg), and the sixth-highest GDP per-capita in the world.

Norway has an estimated population of 5.2 million (2016). The country has the fourth-highest per capita income in the world.

Oslo is the capital and the most populous city in Norway.

Norway is among the popular tourist countries in Europe. National Geographic has listed the Norwegian fjords as the world's top tourist attraction.

It is recommended to visit Oslo that was ranked number one in terms of quality of life among European large cities.

From Oslo, travel to Stavanger city. In the region visit the tourist attractions of Lysefjord and Preikestolen.

From Stavanger drive on road 13 toward Bergen the second-largest city in Norway. Along the road see the spectacular Latefossen waterfall, a well-known tourist attraction in the area.

From Bergen, drive to Briksdalsbreen glacier, a small arm off the huge Jostedal Glacier, the largest glacier in continental Europe.

Continuing north to Geiranger, take a cruise on the beautiful Geirangerfjord and enjoy the waterfalls and scenery of one of Norway's most visited tourist sites.

From Geiranger, drive through the winding roads of Trollstigen, a popular tourist attraction. Stop on the bridge to see Stigfossen Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall which falls 320 meters down the mountainside.

Visit Trondheim, the third largest city in Norway and its capital during the Viking Age.

For more than 300 years people have travelled to the Nordkapp to experience Europe’s northernmost point. This majestic cliff has become one of the most visited destinations in Norway.
